Artist Statement Igor Nagdasev was born in the heart of Siberia and now lives on a southern shore of Finish gulf close to St. Petersburg, Russia. Since the age of 9 when he received his first camera the miracle of a dark-room was always in his mind. Graduate of Philosophy department of Moscow State University he is preferring the photographic exploration of the world. Extensively traveling around Russia, former Soviet Union, the US, and Europe he experiences all facets of photography, from wedding, event, and portrait photography to still-life and landscapes. Igor doesn't follow any trends in his work but use each subject to create its own emotional style and look. His work has been exhibited, and is included in private collections in Russia and in the United States.
