Artist Statement I began photographing landscapes in 2003 with a simple point-and-shoot camera. As I walked around a local lake in my hometown in Mississippi, I noticed the beauty of certain scenes and angles, so I stopped to capture them. I later graduated to a DSLR camera, but refused to photoshop my work. I have since learned of the power of photoshop and now incorporate minor elements of its use in my fine art photography.
