Artist Statement Capturing the character of an animal in an image gives me great fulfillment. But I don’t only photograph dogs and cats. I find old barns, tractors and fields mesmerizing. Children, when photographed candidly, can offer intense portraits of joy in one click of the shutter.
My published shots include the cover image on Last Chance for Paris, Fitzhenry Whiteside, written by my wife, Sylvia McNicoll, many images for Today’s Parent Toronto: “The Great Crepe Caper”, March issue to name one, some in Chill in the October November issue 33 has two of my hockey photographs in them.
