Artist Statement I am a 22 year old university student formerly from Toronto. About a year ago, my family moved from Toronto to Brighton, Ontario. Having been raised as a city girl, I thought that moving to the country would take a bit of getting used to, but then I looked out of my bedroom window and saw this beautiful view out across the lake. The water was so calm and quiet and a family of swans was swimming past us with their babies, and I suddenly felt right at home. Living in the country has helped inspire my photography, as you will see when looking through my galleries. The majority of the landscape and scenic photographs taken of the bay were actually taken from my back porch. It is a warm and picturesque setting that I enjoy waking up to everyday!
