Artist Statement Lani Harmony creates artworks from media including drawing, painting, graphic design and sculpting that embrace the natural beauty of the earth and all it has to offer. She started exploring her artistic side when she was in Kauai at a young age of 5; her natural instinct to draw and paint flowers was greatly influenced by the illuminating colours of nature surrounding her. Her artwork has been featured in Museums and festivals including the 2005 Pier Plaza Arts Festival and The Museum of Latin American Art. She has exhibited her work in galleries, hotels, restaurants, salons, and cultural centre's throughout California. She received awards and scholarships for Distinguished Honour's in Art. In addition, Lani’s paintings and sculptures are in a number of private collections. Her work utilizes recycled, organic, and renewable materials, while preserving and perpetuating traditional art forms. Lani’s involvement in the artist community is continually growing; she has taught the youth of America and continues to grow as an artist daily.
