Description White tigers are individual specimens of the ordinary orange tiger , with a genetic condition that causes paler colouration. The condition is well-documented in the Bengal tiger subspecies. It may also have occurred in captive Siberian tigers, and has been reported historically in several other subspecies. The white individuals do not constitute a separate subspecies on their own. They have pink noses, white-to-creme coloured fur, and black, grey or chocolate-coloured stripes. Their eyes are usually blue, but may be green or amber.
Beverly Turner, Jackson Member Since April 2007 Artist Statement Always searching for beauty! Photography has opened my eyes to a new way to experience the wonders of nature. I love the great outdoors and everthing that Mother Nature has to offer.
Photography and digital art is more than a hobby for me. It's a passion, the way I capture and enjoy life.
I find photography as a way of expressing our artistry and creativeness.
I like to photograph things that catch my eye and touch my soul, so you will see a little of everything in my gallery. I hope you enjoy my photo's as much as I've enjoyed the journey.
