Description Patterns seem to attract the human eye and if there are none, our minds sometimes require it to be fabricated. This windshield had the very distinct impression of a head coming into contact and the spider streaks had air bubbles all along the lines like the amber one sees when an insect is revealed from a million years ago.

I have read numerous artist's statements where its obvious they have been schooled in the arts. My father used to show me the Sunday funny papers when I was about 3 or 4 years old. He used to draw some of the cartoons for me and I would give it a try. Later, I realized he was getting me to begin reading as well as improving my eye and hand coordination. My art training did not go beyond that I am sad to say.
