Artist Statement I've drawn since I was a small child, almost always my most favorite animal in the world, dogs and other canine species. I never did take any art classes other than the regular ones in elementary, middle, and highschool when I didn't appreciate my abilities as much as I do now. I wouldn't mind taking art classes nowadays, I could for sure use the extra education! It's just hard get much into your passion when you have no time or funds to put into it because you can barely scrape up enough to pay a bill or buy the kid a present for his birthday. For now, I just study and practice on my own the best I can. I'm an amateur at best, just trying to find my way in life like most of us are. Since I love dogs so much, someday I'd like to move out to the southwest where I was born and build an animal shelter of my own to rescue abused, abandoned, and neglected animals in need. Until then, I've got to find a passion to build my life and future with. I figure I'm ready to try with my art.
