Artist Statement hey, my name is jenny-marie i have been interested in ANYTHING creative for as long as i can remember... I have tried all kinds of "painting styles " from acrylic to water color and more recently encaustic art. For anyone who does not know what encaustic art is, its using molten wax and hot instruments to maneuver and blend the wax's to create the style your trying to achieve. I have only been working with wax for just under two years and have fond it infuriating yet wonderfully forfiling and on occasion painful. In ever day life i'm a chef so im kinda used to burning myself yet the burns i get off my stylus hurt even more than my oven, my art means so much to me and had no idea that anyone would like it, its silly really the reason my art is on imagekind is because i lost a bet and if they won i would let him try and do something with my art so here i am...... i hope you like my work and feel free to ask me any questions
