Description View of a solitary golden tree a few hundred yards off the main road of the Wupatki National Monument entry heading out of the Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. The ground was black, probably remains of the lava from the eruption in late 1100's. A stark contrast to the bright golden color of the tree. This tree was visible from miles away.
