Artist Statement Hypertech stands at the forefront of enhancing the performance of computer-controlled vehicle engines. Since the debut of electronic engine management in the early 1980s, the technology has advanced swiftly, and Hypertech has kept up by crafting tuning products that leverage these electronic capabilities. Initially, automotive computers relied on swappable PROMs, also known as "chips," to configure the Electronic Control Module (ECM) for a particular engine and vehicle setup. Hypertech pioneered the development of Power Chips to optimize these electronic control units for better performance.
