Artist Statement I have always been interested in drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. From my 1st doodle to discovering a love for impressionism has been an interesting journey. Over 30 years of learning and self discovery. Starting in oil; moving to watercolor and finally discovering acrylics. Acrylics suit my style of bold strokes and bright colors. They dry quickly and remain vivid. It allows me to add colors in layers, leaving flickers of my first strokes to shine through and add a glow to my paintings. This medium works for me. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed painting them for you.
