Artist Statement Welcome! Thank you for visiting the The Artison's gallery. We are a husband and wife team and we are very excited about the opportunity to show our work and offer it for sale on ImageKind. We hope you enjoy our work as much as we have enjoyed creating it. Matthew Styczen:
I was born and raised in Park Ridge, Illinos. After earning my BS in Graphic Design at the Illinois State I began my career as a Graphic Designer creating marketing materials for Baxter Healthcare. While my full-time career is still in Graphic Design I look forward to pursuing my passion for Fine Art.
Jennifer Styczen:
I was born and raised in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. After earning my Bachelors in Fine Arts degree from the University of Evansville I returned to Illinois to begin my career as a production artist creating books. My career has since progressed from Graphic Design and Freelance work to IT and has now come full circle to focusing my efforts towards fine art and design full-time.
I have never been entirely sure what genre my artwork fits into, but I can tell you that I have always been inspired by music and life events. If something in a song resonates with me, whether it is the music, lyrics or both, it will probably be reflected in my artwork.
