Artist Statement My art is an expression of my love for other arts besides visual. I paint the music I hear and I have been listening to throughout my life. The Jazz Standards, Luis Armstrong's trumpet, Billy Holiday’s and Ella Fitzgerald’s vocals.
I have no secrets, no masks, no fear when telling stories to the canvas. So I have no secrets from you when you look at my work. Creating art is my own way of dreaming, playing music, singing, dancing, loving, longing and giving to the world what I can and by doing so hoping to remind the viewers about their own dreams, beliefs, feelings and melodies lost in the insanity of life.
If you happen to find yourself in my art then I will feel that I have reached my goal as an artist.
