Artist Statement Hi, thank you for visiting my profile. I am Emanuele Pepi, I live in Ragusa (Sicily, Italy) and I am a 2d graphic designer. I studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Catania and gained a 3 years degree with 110/110 valuation and skills regarding programs such as Photoshop, Freehand MX, Adobe Illustrator and so on. During my studies I worked for 4 years with Javart, a small company that developed videogames for mobile platforms and I'm still working in the IDHE (Interactive Digital Hybrid Entertainment) sector as graphic designer, gaining also some 3d graphic skills which are anyway important to my improvement. I now run Linux because of the open-source and free aspect of the softwares I'm dealing with (such as Inkscape, Gimp and Blender) and I'm feeling satisfied about my work, experiencing no big difference between open-source programs and 'professional' ones.
