Artist Statement Rick is a Flagstaff, AZ based photographer and co-owner of Marric Studios.
Burgess is a native Texan from the Corpus Christi area. After several years in Minneapolis, MN, Rick relocated to Flagstaff, AZ in 2009.
He has been doing photography for the past several years with focus on event, corporate and landscape photography. He is a self taught photographer and has a passion for photography that captures the essence of a subject, whether it is a person, a flower or a street scene.
Burgess currently works with the digital format photography using the Canon 50D. While working primarily in digital format, he does still have a love for using film cameras, such as an Ansco Viking and Canon AE1. He has also just recently acquired a Kodak Instamatic, which was his first camera as a child.
