Artist Statement My name is Katie Ré Scheidt, and have loved painting and drawing since childhood. My "nom de brush" is Kiki L'Heureux, a moniker I invented when I was a young girl and I sign my work with that name still today. Before graduating from Georgetown University with a BA in Psychology and Fine Arts, I trained at Studio Cecil Graves in Florence under Cessna Decosimo in figurative drawing. After 12 years working as an equity sales trader on Wall Street, I feel incredibly fortunate to embrace this "second act" and what feels like a second lease on life.
