My childhood was spent in the very small town of Fredonia, Kansas. In may ways it was the idyllic 1950s life. My friends and I had the freedom to roam and large blocks of time to develop our talents. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in Art History and American Studies. I moved to New Mexico with my husband. My childhood was spent in the very small town of Fredonia, Kansas. In may ways it was the idyllic 1950s life. My friends and I had the freedom to roam and large blocks of time to develop our talents. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in Art History and American Studies. I moved to New Mexico with my husband. During our first three years in Albuquerque, I developed a love of the desert Southwest. We then moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for three years, where I discovered handweaving. Weaving and the textile arts which have become a life long passion of mine. We lived in El Paso, Texas for 8 years before moving back to Albuquerque for 18 years. While we were in El Paso, I ran a weaving studio out of my home. The Contemporary Craftsman Gallery in Santa Fe, and Clay and Fiber Gallery in Taos were the main outlets for my weaving. I had long been interested in computers and digital art; but three years ago, I developed severe asthma and allergies. This necessitated my move into digital art full time. Today, I am splitting my time between Santa Fe and Chapel Hill and studying fractals. Fractals have become the main thrust of my work.
