Although I have always had an interest in photography and art, the cost of film processing and time constraints had always been an impediment. Three years ago I purchased a digital camera, and on a weekend scenic drive, won my first photography contest. There have been numerous wins since then including a Best in Show at the Putnam museum. Now my digital camera has permanently rooted itself to my neck, and I take pictures whenever I see aN oppotrunity. My true passion is painting, and while time remains an obstacle, I started painting my photographs digitally in 2007, whenever time permits
