Description I've always loved playing with color. My idea was to represent all the 9 planets, with my version of symbols. This painting was created on 9 canvases of 12' X 12' each. I've used acrylic paints and 2 coats of varnish to protect your investment. The sides are already painted, so framing is optional, but not required. They will arrive packed in bubble wrap and boxed. The paintings are already ready to hang, only the nails need to be attached to the wall.

Artist Statement A friend once asked me, “Will you paint me a mural?”
I responded, “Sure! Just be ready to repaint your wall!”
The mural was painted. The wall is yet to be painted over!
My inner urge for art expressionism had taken off!
My name is Juhi Awasthi and I make abstract, contemporary artwork.
Indian culture has played a very important part in my upbringing and influenced all of my artwork. From very early on, I have been enchanted with the grace and beauty that I perceive in almost everything. I have tried to incorporate a rich blend of colors and textures to convey my fascination with the warmth and joy of something magical.
I start my paintings with a representation from my memory and imagination. Using a sketch of my idea of a particular subject, I then proceed to transfer it on multiple canvases using high quality acrylic paints and mixed media to give it three dimensional feel. Once completed, I give each panel two coats of varnish for protection and paint the sides so no framing is required. The end results have almost always given me a sense of achievement.
For me, art has always been a release, a pleasure, and a passion.
