Two replicas of the Statue of Liberty are found in Paris, France. One stands in the Jardin du Luxembourg. Another, larger, one is near the Grenelle Bridge on the le des Cygnes, an island in the river Seine ( [show location on an interactive map] 48510N, 21647E, 11.50 m (37 feet 9 inches) high. Dedicated on November 15, 1889, it looks towards the Atlantic Ocean and hence towards its 'larger sister' in New York Harbor, which had been erected three years earlier. It is shown in the movie National Treasure: Book of Secrets as one of the historic locations.
