Description Acrylic on canvas. 30' by 24'. October, 2016My wife and I visited our writer friend Marc Laidlaw in Kauai. Marc and I started talking about collaborating on an SF story involving beings from Atlantis beneath the sea. I especially wanted to see man whose head looked like a Hawaiian humuhumunukunukuapuaa fish. I did some watercolors of those fish in Kauai and when I got home I did this painting. I thought the two big ones looked like a mother and father, tourists, with three children.
