Description Enjoy colors of morning Isla Verde, remarkable part of San Juan, Puerto Rico, loved by many and now offered for you.Wrapped canvas giclees, framed prints and posters are offered. Original is not for sale. Painting info: This acrylic painting is created on large size stretched canvas 16 x 36', in acrylic. Isla Verde is one of the most charming areas of Puerto Rico, with very special friendly atmosphere and stunning beach, with deep blue ocean color and perspective towards East - Piones and West - towards Condado. The Isla Verde area presented on this painting shows view, which one of my friends called a million dollar view. This image is so powerful, as it has energy of warm friendliness of locals and visitors that come to this specific part of San Juan; color of the ocean is indescribable; and they say that rainbow is seen a lot on the North-East from here, and I personally witnessed a double-rainbow over there, sitting on the deck of La Playita. They say that the corner property that is for sale now was once considered by Mark Anthony and Jennifer Lopez for purchase (it is only what I heard - not claiming it as a real fact, and not really for the sake of name dropping, but just thinking that the idea was fascinating). Now this property has a new owner and is under renovation. All in all - this piece is for you! Enjoy colors of morning Isla Verde, remarkable part of San Juan, Puerto Rico, loved by many and now - shared with you! The painting has already wire attached to be hung on the wall; sides are white, and staples on the back. Frame would be a great option, as it would enhance the image and make this powerful piece show in all its beauty.
Galina Victoria, In the USA Member Since September 2011 Artist Statement Hello, I am Galina, the artist. My art is presently shown on my website www.artworkbygalina.com. Paintings I created were introduced in Asia, Europe, Australia, the USA, Canada, and lately, Puerto Rico. Painting style has evolved from line paintings to realistic art to abstract imaging, which presently is my favorite style. I was born in Russia and have been painting and drawing from the age of four. My passion for life is expressed in bright simplistic abstract landscapes, portraits and surrealistic panno. Impressionists from previous century have primarily influenced art style. My paintings were exhibited in Lamp Fine Art Gallery, Borders Books and Music, Bean Cup Coffee Shop in Greenwood, IN, and in Blynn Galleries, Scottsdale, AZ. I donated paintings for Riley Hospital for Children. Some of the proceeds from my art were donated to Adopt A Cat fund, Bat World Sanctuary; to support Japan Tsunami victims or to help cancer patients. People often come back to me after buying my art and seeing originals. Galina’s art has been selling all over the world, and majority of later art pieces found their home in private collections and offices in the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico. I have been sharing my paintings with my old and new friends all over the globe; love people and love making them happy! Tropical theme has been my favorite for several later years. Puerto Rico and Florida, especially Clearwater Beach, gave me a lot of inspiration and sense of color for any new work. I don't paint it unless I feel it; I am driven by inspiration and always create something new - look for more art coming up and enjoy!
