Artist Statement My goal is to simplify complex ideas that communicate quickly. Rankin design, in business for 35 years, produces visual solutions for many types of projects.
I have a print making background and sketch in dry media mostly, all my projects start at my easel. My illustrations and photos have been published in many project for clients. I have won national and international awards for corporate work.
When I sketch I try to convey the feeling about the place. Rather than make a picture I am making a drawing not photographic. I hope that I share the quiet passion that I feel for a scene.
