Description This painting is about sounds from my childhood in Moscow, Idaho. I used to listen to the Western Meadowlarks' calls and watch the crop duster planes fly under the telephone wires and over the hills of the Palouse.
Susan Baily Weaver, Moscow, ID Member Since July 2010 Artist Statement Susan Baily Weaver graduated with a B.F.A. from the University of Idaho. She has since been working as a graphic/web designer and artist in Moscow, Idaho. She loves to paint in a somewhat abstract form using lots of thick paint and bright colors (though lately her forms seem to be not so abstract). Her subjects vary but often include birds, trees and other outdoor settings. She often tries to convey an experience or state of being in her work.
