Artist Statement For as long as I can remember I've had a camera in my hands. Unfortunately I've lost most of the film images I've taken and only have recently started in digital imaging.

I am passionate about the Australian country areas in particular the NSW Snowy Mountains. I love getting out and about in my Land Rover into some very remote areas looking for 'that' photo spot. Camping is my other love so I do spend quite a lot of time alone in the bush; which can be dangerous for I have fallen down some steep cliffs a few times, breaking cameras and equipment but luckily not myself.

My current gear is a Nikon D700 with the following lenses; Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8, Nikkor 28-70mm f/2.8 and a Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8. I do not use any post processing except for minimal sharpening when required. I prefer to enjoy my photography by creating an image correctly in camera rather than correct with post processing.
