Description Two leaves barely touching each other. A tenderness so close, but the random touch is up to the will of the wind. The winter is not only hard and rough. It's also moody and soft. The white blanket of snow covers and protects nature during its rest between fall and spring. The frost makes art and celebrates with sparkling snow flakes and sculptures of ice. All is calm, you can see and hear your breath. If you're present you'll even hear the sound of frost-bitten leaves rustling from the branches and making music as the wind whispers among the trees. This photo is part of my series 'Winter Softness'
Randi Grace Nilsberg, Horten Member Since July 2014 Artist Statement I’m a fine art photographer who creates photo art with a painterly effect for nature lovers and dreamers who want affordable art in their home.
I like to experiment with different techniques and styles from soft and subtle colors to the brightness of the entire rainbow. Everything I do starts with a photo of something that caught my eye through its light and shadows, textures and colors. Digital textures often intensify the beauty. I hope my art lets the viewer drift away for a moment.
