Winnie Fitch, Eugene, OR Member Since August 2007 Artist Statement Cooper Union School of Art gave me a wonderful design background that has served me professionally lo, these fifty-some years! At first, it was illustrating for national advertising and publishing, including children’s picture books, in Chicago, New York and Boston. (I was working my way toward Cape Cod, Hedgerow Studios and John Houston.) Currently my design and illustration is applied to the children’s songs and musicals we write and record together. All through my varied career, I’ve done posters and prints that pleased me, ‘the oldest living mermaid on Cape Cod,’ be they strong or subtle, philosophical or funny, in color or black and white. Now, Imagekind is making it possible to share my whimsies with you, out there in the wide-world, framed for your walls. Enjoy! - Winnie Fitch
