Description esterday was insanely warm, almost 70 degrees!! so i decided to scoop some leaves out of the pond (there is a netting over it for the winter but the leaves were starting to weigh that down).and look who i found :)she's sporting a new look ;)if you look larger you can see the sky and the trees in her eyes :)frogs change colors for numbers of reasons but in this case it's because it's been cold an green frogs turn dark as the temperatures drop. their skin is very reflective and when it's hot they are lighter to ward off the rays and the heat and when it's cooler they are darker to absorb more.

Macro is my favorite. Because these are the little everyday wonders that most people overlook untill they are presented with an image that helps them get a more personal peek at the secrets these gems hold.
Side note: I have a lot of images on my flickr account, if you see any there that you are interested in, please leave me a message and i will move them into one of my galleries here for you.
