Artist Statement Artist Statement

I am a self taught Creative Digital Artist. Creating art has been my secret passion since childhood. Technology fascinates me and I love working digitally, creating in pixels instead of paint. I hope to create works that inspire both viewers and a new generation of artists alike. I hope to inspire others to follow their dreams and create works of their own.

I am impulsive by nature. Much of my creative choices are spur of the moment, true experiments in creativity. I try to stay with an aesthetic of simplicty and chaos. I often use only a single light and the simplest of modifiers. I do not subscribe to overcomplicated techniques and rules. I follow my intuition and let chance into my work.
I love beautiful and feminine objects. I describe my work as abstract, feminine, and soft. I experiment often in the color pink, in all of its shades and splendor. I am in love with the nature of the color, the way it reflects the light, the emotional response and respresntative nature of the color.

My work is almost always a direct insight into my state of mind at the moment the shutter clicked.
Currently, I am exploring the color two disctint themes: pink and early photography.

I adore the beauty in old photographs. I enjoy the way the colors fade away and image recedes on the paper, the emotion of a time long passed. The images are so romantic and dreamy. I also the freedom of the early days of photography, the impulsive nature and care free attitude the photographers of the time had.
