Description Copyright 2006. Oil on Canvas. Original Size: 36' X 24'. Originally commissioned by Michelle Gerstley, Barney is a Bichon Frise and Chico is a Chihuahua. Barney is blind, and aging rapidly, and the Gerstley family wanted to memorialize him while he was still with them. Chico, the young whippersnapper of the family, may run rings around Chico, but when the chips are down, is the most loyal of friends. Thank you to Michelle and the Gerstley family for the rights to reproduce their family members.
