Artist Statement "School of hard knocks," comes to mind when I think of my younger years - ethics - being a young adult; I don't think I ever grew up, viewed as a degenerate of sorts my whole life - this does not show the depth of my experience - I am an artist. I am Native American and along with my vision, I just don't see working for anyone else. Now in my forties, I use my art as my shovel to dig myself out and to get me where I want to be, which is creating, living - and doing it on my own terms. I combine ancient culture, graphic design, and street ethics as a means to an end.


I am currently writing a book about my experience of being American Indian, and I am currently building my company, "Code of Crows which should not be confused with the Crow Nations, but will feature some of my designs on t-shirts.
