The message behind the art is about perfection. Perfection is not achieved in our natural state, it is a spiritual condition. It resides where the fruits of the Spirit exist, in love, peace, joy, patience, gentleness, and kindness. Since perfection is not a natural state, we need to use our spiritual senses to help us reach this goal, by daily looking and listening for the songs perfection sings.

Are you listening for direction from above, waiting on no other motivation but guidance from Gods Spirit? God speaks in many ways. We must be attentive, if we are to hear. Are you listening? Are you listening for that perfect song?

Listening, is a reminder of the best the human condition has to offer. Seek it, and eventually, you will find it within.

Artist Statement The Pine Needle Man™ is a 21st century artist, musician, and author living in Seattle, WA. The name is a pseudonym used for two purposes. First, for the artist's day to day career objectives of managing the creation and publishing of art, music, and literature. Whether it is creating and recording music, writing books, producing and publishing art, or simply designing an internet presence for marketing, all of The Pine Needle Man™ projects work toward development of a multi-faceted, long term, values based program for the 21st century.




The Pine Needle Man™ name is also used as a fictional, licensable property, the lead character in a values based story for children. This fictional story, similar to the books of C. S. Lewis or Lewis Carroll, promotes the discovery of spiritual values in a 21st century world. In this fictional world, The Pine Needle Man™ is the protagonist in a series of children’s books and values based products.



The 365 Lyrics™ collection continues this theme with a series of art designed to highlight a principle in spiritual growth for each and every day of the year. Utilizing lyrical and musical content from The Pine Needle Man™ original music library as its foundation, this artistic, musical, and literary project presents 30 images from Volume One of a twelve volume series.



Each image depicts a principle in spiritual growth, inspired by a Key Phrase and Song Lyric. A Daily Message and an original Music Composition, performed by the artist on a grand piano, along with an In-depth Study in spiritual growth, are all part of the developing process.



The series is also being readied for publication as an iPhone app delivering its daily content in the Apple iPhone store, an online web site, and as calendars, greeting cards, and art books. From Inner Assurance, to Introspective Valley, from Luminescence and Healing Rain, to Beauty Is As Beauty Does, the artistic imagery and content are unique only to this fine art series.
