Artist Statement Living in one of the most beautiful areas of Britain I am never short of inspiration for my photography. Much of my work captures the longevity of nature contrasted by the rapid evolution of the manmade world.

Photography has been ever present throughout my life starting as a young boy. Capturing the ‘here and now’ and securing a moment never to be recreated has always given me a sense of the fragility of time and life itself. Looking back at images of areas that I photographed many years ago, they have changed; yet have strangely remained the same.

I have been professionally involved in photography for several years, originally as an image consultant and now as an accomplished photographer. The technical involvement as an image consultant gave me invaluable experience whilst also rekindling my love of photography. Deciding on a career change I became a full time photographer supplying images for galleries along with various exhibitions, private and corporate commissions.
