Description One day when I was meditating, I asked Jesus for an idea to paint. I had my husband and my oldest son be models for me. This piece is reminding me of the legacy that we have for the next generation to come. Whatever we do, say, think, act, feel generates towards our little ones. The little one says, Pour into me- the vase my husband is holding, is a vase I painted and on the bottom of the vase, it says- pour into me so that I may pour into others. Instilling good morals and values is what is beeing poured.
Angie Jeter, California Member Since January 2008 Artist Statement Thanks for taking the time to read about me. I am 33 years old. I am not a trained artist but would love to go to art school one day and be around other people who have a passion for art. I currently work in a salon as a stylist and consider my art a hobby for now. I would love to become a better trained artist. One of my goals in life is to go to CALARTS in Valencia. I am a spiritual person and believe I am closer to Jesus when I am able to worship him through loving my husband, children, others and being creative in the talents that He has gifted me with. I am an imperfect individual. I know that I have a need to continually metamorphosis actions and thoughts for a higher purpose. For those of you reading this who do not know Jesus personally, I guarantee with my life that He is worth the sacrifice of following His ways for eternal life in the kingdom of Heaven. Invite Jesus into your life today. All he asks of us is to love him with all your heart, all your mind and all your strength and to love other people. God bless you with a blissful eternal life!
