Artist Statement I have always loved pictures, but it wasn't until I was in High School that my passion for photography really took off. I was in yearbook class, and my teacher handed me a camera and told me to get out there and take pictures. I did my best, and they turned out awesome! My teacher told me that I really had an eye for photography, and that encouraged me to keep going and develop my skills further. After High School, I got a job taking pictures for a martial arts studio, and they were sold to participants at events. I also got into children's photography, and loved that also. But to me, nothing beats nature. Everywhere I go I have a camera with me to capture nature's beautiful scenes. I hope you enjoy looking at my work as much as I enjoy capturing it.
