Artist Statement Before being able to read or write I would draw. I grew up on a farm where most of my days (when not in school) was tending to the cattle and other chores. In my spare time I had, my life was spent being creative.

For the last 20 years I've worked as a graphic designer, doing mostly desktop publishing for newspapers. My true artistic calling is with pencil in hand, hence the desire to share and rediscover my work so long dormant.

While my work may not be as polished nor as abundant I feel that these first few submissions express just as much or more as others. And lacking offspring, my artwork has become my legacy, my children.
