Artist Statement I first became interested in photography when I took a brief course at school, which included elements of composition and developing. I then went on to take A Level Art and a module of art at Newman College in Birmingham as part of my degree.
I have worked closely with other photographers and directed their work as part of my previous career as a journalist.
My favourite subjects are those which have an element of human interest to them - family, pets, holidays, religion etc - themes which have an impact on society as a whole.
