Artist Statement My name is Yvette and this is my adventure into the art world. I was born in Indianapolis, IN and continue to make Naptown (as we call it) my home. My artwork expresses many things to me, the most of which is a need to let ME get out at times and show off.

I started painting in December 2007 as a way to break the boredom while I was recovering from surgery and realized that painting was something that I really enjoyed. I am a self taught artist, therefore all of my work is un-channeled and raw. Each design I make is different from the next and takes on a life of its' own from beginning to the end. Each painting has a "signature fingerprint or is signed" to allow a little bit of me to stay with each painting. My goal is to create beautiful pieces of artwork that you will find as beautiful and expressive as I do. Take a look around the site and pick out a piece of my world to add to your world.
