Artist Statement I am inspired by color and line. I live along coastal Delaware, just outside the resort area, and I am constantly in awe of the beauty around me. I love the fall colors, the starkness of winter, the brightness of spring, and in the summer, I love the beach, whether it be the water and surf or the vacationing throngs.

Tired of working all day and watching TV all evening, I bought an "Origami-a-day" calender to challenge myself to create something everyday. Five years later, I am a painter, a photographer, a weaver of paper, and a digital artist. I've been featured in galleries, local publications, arts festivals and had a piece in a museum. I feel extremely fortunate.

My landscape work represents the world around me in a very straight-forward way. I love to use the colors and shapes of flowers and butterflies to create wonderful abstracts. And I love to tell stories and relationships in my figurative images.
