Artist Statement I grew up in Western New York, served twelve years on active duty with the Army, and recently settled in the Central Texas Hill Country. I work in local government as a GIS technician, and my hobbies include photography, geocaching, hiking, canoeing, fishing, hunting, and reading.
I became interested in landscape photography when I was stationed in Germany and bought my first digital camera. As more people complimented my photos, I tried to learn more about the craft. In the last 18 months I've gravitated to macro photography. I am not interested in taking wedding pictures.
