In College, at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, I was trained in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, typography, graphic design, and a variety of media.
While I was there I learned to develop my own black and white film process the prints. I will never forget the first time I put a sheet of exposed paper into the developer and watched while the image appeared. What magic!!!
After school I found myself in New York City, as a Scenic Artist. I worked on scenery for Broadway, Movies, TV, and TV Commercials, as a member of the United Scenic Art...

Now after many years, I'm coming back to myself with my photography, and it's
like the magic of my first painting, and my first photograph all over again. The digital world is as amazing as watching the image appear through the developer.
II remember the, now primitive, means we needed to use to make images that now are totally digital.
