Alexis Winslow, from Norman, Oklahoma, recently moved to New York City. She earned her Bachelors in Fine Arts in 2005 from the University of Oklahoma. She works from her sunny little studio in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. She is inspired by the contrasts between her experiences in Oklahoma and her new life in New York. Alexis continues to pursue her various artistic endeavors in addition to working professionally as a printed textile designer.
