As a child I received my love of art from my mother who I watched write poetry, paint with pastels and draw with pencils and charcoal. I followed her by painting with Acrylics and drawing some myself as I went through my teenage years, but as an adult I transitioned to photography.
I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture time with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously.
Though most of my work comes from close to home I have also captured quite a few images in other parts of the US from my travels.

Viewer beware. What you see before you are at what I stress are 'images' more often than just 'photos'. What I mean to say is that herein there are plenty of simple photographs capturing a moment in time with little more than perhaps an adjustment in contrast or tonal values. However often times there is something else in play.
Many pieces found here are combinations of two or more individual photographs placed into a scene together to better convey the concept. Some of these will be very obvious, while others may appear seamless to the viewer. Mostly this is meant to eliminate distractions and keep the eyes on the intended target for a more focused message.

The real winner in this process is you, the viewer, who is allowed deeper into my mind not through a single image, but rather through a body of work that may span many various social implications, available subjects, locations, and inspirations.
