Hello, I am an Australian amateur photographer. After commencing an unsuccessful and less than enjoyable career in retail I joined the Army in 1993. I graduated from The Royal Military College Duntroon in 1994 and continued to serve in the Army (including tours of East Timor in 2000 and Iraq in 2005) for 12 years, retiring as a Major in 2005. Among the many valuable skills the Army provided me was the skills and experience of directing training documentaries. Hello, I am an Australian amateur photographer. After commencing an unsuccessful and less than enjoyable career in retail I joined the Army in 1993. I graduated from The Royal Military College Duntroon in 1994 and continued to serve in the Army (including tours of East Timor in 2000 and Iraq in 2005) for 12 years, retiring as a Major in 2005. Among the many valuable skills the Army provided me was the skills and experience of directing training documentaries. While I enjoyed this immensely, it created an even greater interest in still photography, a passion I continue to enjoy today. I now reside in the Middle East and work as a consultant while I complete my studies in professional photography. My galleries contain things I have seen on my travels around the world, currently these images are from four continents, however I do intend to add the other three over next few years.
