In the famous year 1968 I was 4 years old & found out (amongst other things) that it was forbidden to draw on the boxes for toys and that my friend was better at it, could draw people, things that looked more real. I still think I cannot draw too well after nature, but able to grasp some of its essence, yes, and maybe even adding a little something - a view, an angle.
I like to draw 'automatically' - call it meditative - and afterwards find messages and meanings in it I wasn't aware of during the action. Try it: just think of someone to make a portrait, don't look at the subject. It...

Using paint (acryl) means the messages get different: maybe clearer, bigger, but also harder. I get more from it and hope you too.
