Michael Slatky (b. 1972) is an American artist who works in watercolor, pencil, ink, and digital media. He is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a B.F.A. in Illustration. He currently lives in Manhattan.

Slatky’s pieces are immediately striking; visceral, hallucinatory, and simultaneously fascinated with and repulsed by the human form. His focus is nothing short of the limitations of bodily reality and the possibility of transcendence.
