Description Colorized photo from 1893Original Title: On the TomokaPhotographer: Detroit PublishingLocation: Volusia County, FLYou have one on every trip, the know it all, the show off, the guy who can't stop talking about himself and all of his accomplishments. Everything is embellished, everything is about him. He doesn't even notice people passing out with boredom when he speaks. This person is the Mansplainer, a guy that feels the need to over explain things so the lady folk will understand, and mix that with some macho, and you get this guy. If you could hear his story in person you would understand the look on their faces. How he bravely shot this beast coming toward us in the boat. He pats himself on the back and hopes people will celebrate him later on. All night long he rambles on about this single accomplishment, and by the next day, the gator gets bigger. By the time he's done explaining this for the umpteenth time, its a 15ft monster. Though the story that the gatorskin belt he's wearing from it is totally true, there was just enough for a belt.
