When is it time to let go an move on? How steep of a hill is too steep? Just because something seems impossible for someone to even attempt doesn't mean that you can't do it. Sometimes the impossible is a lot easier than it may look from the outside.

Wonderful Whimsical Art to Add Cheer to Your Life!
You are viewing works of art from original oil paintings inspired by the Canadian landscape. These paintings are by the hugely popular West Coast artist Richard Hoedl.
The, often excited, new owners of a Hoedl original landscape have said that these paintings are: vibrant, alive with motion, drama and light. They capture emotions and comment on the human condition. They energize people and have even been referred to as 'happy art'.
These paintings come from my desire to brighten up my own day and life. I thoroughly enjoy painting. To me painting is a joy. When I stand back and look at each painting, I smile. Because other people react the same way, I choose to share my work and spread the happiness around. That joy carries through the work to the viewer. My hope is that when you hang it on the wall, you will find that this vibrant dreamy landscape makes you smile every time that you see it.
This series of impressionistic works are inspired by the Group of Seven and Emily Carr. The images are filled with the feeling of movement and activity, yet are calm and dream-like to view. This work of art will be relaxing and enjoyable for years to come.
