Description This was our little aquarium lobster, Leo, short for Leonardo da Pinchy. He's not really a lobster. He's a crayfish (we call them crawfish in Texas). The pets store labels them aquarium lobsters so you won't mind paying $25 for them. We only paid $5 for Leo though because he was missing one of his large claws. It grew back. Leo loved his aquarium. He especially loved the big piece of decorative wood we put in it. He'd climb up and just sit there, his claws and legs dangling. We bought him as a baby, along with the other fish in the aquarium, and they all grew up together. That's the safest way to do it, get them all while they are babies. Leo never tried to attack the fish and they never tried to eat him. Sometimes the fish would go right up to him! He was a fascinating and amusing creature to raise. He loved peas. We would drop some frozen peas into the aquarium and he'd see them floating down and get all excited. He'd reach and grab one and start happily munching away.
